I would often get comments from followers asking how to make queer friends, and eventually someone suggested that my friends and I throw a meet-up. We loved the idea, so I released a video inviting queer people to the beach in May of 2021. My friends Adrianne & Kayleen Casey became the main players in planning, setting up, and running the games and activities that day. Hundreds of people came, and we saw how hungry people were for an event like this. Kayleen, Adrianne, and I would later become the co-founders of Queer Field Day.
